Kasey Snyder & Stacey Steed
Kasey Snyder (Celebrity) is a stay at home mom and passionate advocate for the arts. She is a PHS and WVWC Alumnae who met her husband 12 years ago in college. They now have two little girls, ages 5 and 2. Kasey has had a few different careers post college, but says the most rewarding and difficult has been that of being a mom. In addition to “mommin”, you can usually catch her volunteering for working behind the scenes on various projects. She is passionate about the arts and is a self-proclaimed spokeswoman about the awesomeness of the arts in our community. Kasey says her days of being on stage have long ago passed, but grew up in dance and loved it deeply. She has now passed this passion on to her 5 year old. She was a PHS Red Wing and is excited about dusting off her dancing shoes and performing with her childhood best friend, Stacey. She is lucky to call her former Red Wing Captain her pro and if Mrs. B makes it to the show, maybe she can confuse them for old time’s sake. Kasey would like to give a big high five to her husband and family for sticking with her through this process and to all her friends that have supported her in the endeavor, “YOU ROCK! I LOVE YOU ALL BIG TIME! Now lastly, if you see me, bring me coffee. I’m tired.”
Stacey Steed (Pro) Stacey thinks dancing professionally might be a bit of a stretch. However, throughout the years, there are many mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors that have caught her reflection while practicing--and some kind hearted audiences at real performances that have given encouraging rounds of applause! In movement, some may remember her childhood stint as a majorette--or her teenage glory as captain of the Parkersburg High School Red Wing Drill Team. As an adult, Stacey practices her passion for movement as a certified yoga instructor--namaste!
